Benefits: Replacing this critical water management infrastructure on the Jordan River watershed helps ensure the long-term ecological resiliency of Great Salt Lake.

Timeline: Construction no later than May 2025

Status: Complete

What used to take me hours of travel and labor to manage how the water was moving through the State Canal, now takes me minutes and is far safer than ever before. This improvement is a game-changer, nor only for Farmington Bay Wetland Management Area, but for Great Salt Lake at large.
